Korea Minimum Wage 2026: What Pakistani EPS Workers Actually Earn

By Bilal Ahmed, Islamabad Korean Language Course · Published 2026-10-15 · Updated 2026-10-15

The 2026 Korean minimum wage, typical monthly take-home for E-9 workers with overtime, deductions, and how it compares to Pakistan.

South Korea's minimum wage for 2026 is about KRW 10,320 per hour (confirm the official figure on minimumwage.go.kr). On a standard 209-hour month that is roughly KRW 2.15 million before overtime.

Most EPS workers in manufacturing earn more through overtime and night shifts; KRW 2.5–3.2 million per month is common. Deductions include national pension, health insurance and tax; employers usually provide housing.

At 2026 exchange rates that is several times a comparable Pakistani factory salary, which is why EPS-TOPIK competition keeps rising.
